Micah 5-7
Revelation 7
Psalm 135:1-21
Proverbs 30:5-6

Micah 6:6-8
"What can we bring to the Lord? Should we bring him burnt offerings? Should we bow before God Most High with offerings of yearling calves? Should we offer him thousands of rams and ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Should we sacrifice our firstborn children to pay for our sins? No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."

These verses here are so important and I think they do a great job of summing up what it means to be a Christian. There are certain things that we tend to think as important. Doing all the right things. Following all the right rules. Being the most religious and sacrificial and holy. Don't get me wrong. These are good things, but not in the way that we often think. In verse 8, it says that we need to love mercy and walk humbly with our God. To God, this is worth so much more than if we were to offer Him ten thousand rivers of olive oil or a thousand rams. He doesn't want us to just follow the rules. He wants our hearts to belong to Him. He wants us to be merciful to those around us and to be humble and to walk with Him. This is what the Lord wants from us, more so than any burnt offering.
