Food for the Soul
As it says in Ezekiel 3:3, I encourage you to, "eat this scroll I am
giving you and fill your stomach with it."
ADVICE AND REBUKE
Proverbs 27:5,6
Better is open rebuke
Than hidden love
Wounds from a friend can be trusted,
But an enemy multiplies kisses
Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron,
So one man sharpens another.
DISCIPLINE
Proverbs 13:18
He who ignores discipline comes to poverty and shame,
But whoever heeds correction is honored
RIGHTEOUSNESS AND WICKEDNESS
Proverbs 24:15,16
Do not lurk like a thief near the house of the righteous,
Do not plunder their dwelling place;
for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again,
But the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.
APPROPRIATE CONSEQUENCES
Proverbs 10:24, 25
What the wicked dreads will overtake him;
What the righteous desire will be granted.
When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone,
But the righteous stand firm forever.
Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord,
He makes even his enemies live at peace with him.
God Bless,
Anthony
